6. When you see the following message:
Shutdown complete. It is now safe to power off the subsystem.
Manually turn off the power supply switch (both switches with redundant
power supplies) on the back of the subsystem.
Powering Off the VessRAID – Serial Connection
This option enables you to start the VessRAID NAS from SmartNAVI.
The Wake on LAN option must be enabled. See “Making Management Port
Settings” on page 248.
To power off the VessRAID:
1. From the Main Menu, highlight Additional Info and Management and press
Enter.
2. Highlight Shutdown or Restart and press Enter.
3. Highlight Option and press the spacebar to display Poweroff.
4. Highlight Submit and press Enter.
A warning message appears.
5. Press Y to continue.
When you see the following message:
Shutdown complete. It is now safe to power off the subsystem.
The subsystem is ready to power on. See “Powering On a NAS Device” on
page 187.
