5. List the DM device partitions.
In this example we make two partitions on 22249000155459b3b.
# ls /dev/mapper
The system returns:
22249000155459b3b

The number of multipath partitions (22249000155459b3bp1,
22249000155459b3bp2, etc.) in the list depends on:
• The number of LUNs (SCSI devices) in your VTrak subsystem
• The number of partitions you created using fdisk
These partition numbers are used in the next step.
6. Create a file system on the DM device partition.
# mkfs.ext3 /dev/mapper/22249000155459b3bp1
The system returns:
